EMENA Council Convenes in Czech Republic

The YFC Europe, Middle East & North Africa (EMENA) Area Conference in the Czech Replublic has been a great week full of blessings. Staff were gathered with more than 85 leaders from about 25 countries. Participants enjoyed Bible teaching by Pavol Strezo, worship led by the excellent James Evans band, 24 various workshops, presentations from all the regions, region meetings … and of course the informal meetings, the fellowship, prayer time, fun time, so many great things were going on that week.

The last evening, attendees held a prayer concert for the young refugees in Lebanon. It gave everyone a little insight into the life of so many traumatised young teenagers, as well as the blessing of praying for them.

The Immanuel Centre did a great job in hosting and serving excellent food.

Some reactions from participants:

  • A reminder that we are part of something much bigger
  • Made new friends, learned new skills
  • The prayer concert was very inspiring! That was top for me personally.
  • The presentations in the evening were really interesting.
  • I loved the icebreaker games!
