“I Like The Way God Thinks”

seychellsindiraby Melissa Verdugo

About a month ago, Indra started attending Campus Life. She wasn’t sure if she believed in Jesus when she first came. The second week she attended, she made the decision to accept Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. This week, the lesson was on the Word of God and we showed the young people how to look up Bible verses, something that most of the them did not know how to do. 44 Bibles were given to students who did not have one last week and we challenged them to read the Bible for themselves.

I had my small group look up and read Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Indra read it and then with a big smile said, “I like the way God thinks.” It was beautiful to see her praise the Lord with such a simple expression. She then went on to explain to the other girls how she had decided to accept Jesus in her life at Campus Life, that He had saved her by His grace, and that she had chosen to let Him be her Boss.

Pray for Indra to grow in her new relationship with Jesus. We have just recently chosen student leaders that we will spend extra time discipling as they will be helping with Campus Life. This week I asked Indra to be a student leader. Pray for all of the student leaders to follow Jesus well and to lead others to do the same.
