In summer 2010 YFC Northern Ireland and YFC Ireland are partnering in the vision to send an evangelistic mission team to each of the 32 counties of the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland. This is a historic partnership as the leadership in these two YFC National Programs unites to see God move in the lives of the individuals and towns across the island!
This life-changing experience will begin with a day of sightseeing in Dublin and then two days of focused training, teambuilding and planning, from which you will be commissioned in a multi-national team and sent out to your location for just over a week. On location you will be involved in four main areas of ministry including, youth and children’s work, reaching the wider community through practical help and encouraging prayer in the community, perhaps by setting up a prayer room and prayer walks. The opportunities and possibilities are huge!
After this amazing time of ministry we will all meet up again in Dublin to reflect, share stories and celebrate what God has done.
Your application with a $100 non-refundable deposit is due no later than April 1, 2010. But apply as soon as you can so you can be sure of securing a spot on the team as well as time to raise funds. Groups applying will be split between the 32 teams. Each multi-national team will have two trained Irish leaders.
Here are some important facts you will want to know:
- Departure City: New York’s JFK International Airport or Newark’s Liberty International Airport. This will be decided by April 1.
- Trip Cost: $2,099 ** inclusive of airfare from departure city. Non-refundable deposit is applied to the total trip cost. All payments must be in U.S. dollars.
- Age Requirement: 18 years or older by or on trip dates.
- U.S. Trip Sponsor: Youth for Christ International.
